Everyday thousands of volunteers from across the province dedicate their time and talents to make Ontario a better place. Last week, Minister Ford and our government recognized 4,555 Ontarians with a Volunteer Service Award, an annual award honouring the exceptional contributions of individuals providing dedicated service to a single organization.
Thank you to all who volunteered this year. Our province and our community are grateful for your kindness, dedication and the selfless commitment you’ve shown.
Volunteers are the backbones of our communities and embody the best of the Ontario spirit. This province has shown time and time again that we can overcome any challenge because of the volunteers who step up and dedicate their time and talents to help make our community and Ontario a stronger and better place to live.
